This guide will serve as a starting point for all new members, and is designed to help get you involved with us as quickly as possible through Discord, Mumble, training classes and eventually operational fleets.
If you are new to EVE Online, be sure to explore the new player guides on the Wiki, and the #classes tab on Discord to see what upcoming training sessions are available.
Once you have both Discord and Mumble set up, come in and say hello! Voice communication is an extremely important part of EVE Online, and will result in you making more ISK and having more fun.

Join us in the
Nocturne.
channel in mumble, this is the main channel that we use.
Before you can start using Mumble you must setup both a whisper key and a push-to-talk key. The whisper key will allow you to speak to all members of the current channel you are in, while the push-to-talk key allows you to speak to multiple connected channels. This becomes important when participating in fleet operations. Follow these steps to complete the setup for both keys:
Nocturne.
channel and come say Hello!Whisper and Push-to-Talk keys are mandatory for communication in Mumble. If you are having trouble with the setup process, reach out to a member of the Outreach department for assistance.
We currently are in the process of relocating toward the region of Fade. Staging in C4C-Z4. Despite the fact that it is a Nullsec area, you will be the safest while living within our sovereign space. Do note, however, that there is an ongoing conflict between the B2 Coalition and the Winter Coalition, so expect a higher concentration of neutrals in the region than what would be the usual.
After joining the alliance, you will be an elligible war target. High-Sec space will no longer afford you the security it formerly did.
You will be provided starting equipment when you arrive, so you don't need to bring anything. If you will be self destructing to travel over, understand that your clone will lose any implants when self destructing. If you have any expesnive implants, make a new jump clone before taking the pod express.
Read this nullsec travel guide for instructions on how to move down
You are now officially ready to begin your adventure within the Nocturne alliance. Jump into Mumble and introduce yourself, and ask what fleets or activities are in progress. EVE is exponentially more fun flying in a group, and more profitable while doing so.
If you are new to EVE online, utilize the beginner pages on the wiki to get started learning the various activities EVE has to offer. As a new player, you are also entitled to a starter package courtesy of the Outreach department. Simply send an Outreach representative (which can be found listed in Discord) a direct message or EVEmail to request your package.
Welcome to the Alliance, we are happy to have you flying with us!
